Our light and spacious art gallery is in the High Street of the popular Welsh seaside town of Barmouth, just south of the Heritage site of Harlech Castle.  Most of the pieces featured are exclusive to Oriel.  We design, paint, print and photograph many of them ourselves.  Mugs, coasters, placemats and cards all feature Barmouth with our own designs. Valerie’s dual styles of painting provide a collection of images which are modern and colourful.  Janet Bell, our daughter-in-law, also has a wide range of both original and printed images available through Oriel Gallery.

Valerie has always been the public face of the business, while Kevin works behind the scenes maintaining our busy Fine Art Printing business which produces most of the work displayed in the Gallery, as well as printing for Artists, Galleries and Fine Art Publishers.

Our framing workshop is on the premises so we are usually able to respond to urgent requests, thanks to Sue and Ginny who ensure that the workshop is running smoothly.
